Valencia CF midfielder, Enzo Barrenechea, is in the list of called-up players of the Argentine national team to play the South American qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup. The Valencia CF midfielder has been interviewed by VCF Media.

“I am very happy and content. It's a dream I've had since I was a child. I did not expect it at this moment and it was an immense joy. I had the opportunity to be in the youth category, but I always had the 'thorn' of being able to play an official tournament with the Absolute. It's a bittersweet taste because of what happened in Valencia and then I found out about the call-up. I was more sad than happy about what happened.
